20 pitted Medjool dates
1⁄2 to 1⁄2 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
If your dates are super soft there is no need to soak them. If they are not soft
then soak in hot water for about 30 minutes.
Put dates into a food processor and process until a paste is formed. Add a
small amount of hot water- just enough to achieve the consistency you want.
You can always add more water but you cannot take it away once added.
Add a 1⁄4 tsp salt and taste to see if that is enough. Adjust if needed.
Serve with sliced fruit.
